Find the Differences Ages 5-8 Requirements: A digital camera and a good desktop publishing software, good caliber paper or photo paper, a good sense of humor Our granddaughter is good at spotting details. For her 6th birthday, we took photos of us and things around our home to see if she could spot the differences. We took a photo and then made some changes to the scene before we took a second photo. We printed the photos in color on good, heavy paper stock and inserted them in a photo album with about two dozen pages of 4"X6" photo inserts. We sent the album to her for her birthday along with a small pad of brightly colored post-it labels that are small and easily peeled out of a small container. Her instructions were to Find the Differences between the two sets of photos and use the post-its to indicate where those differences are. We were able to take advantage of her strengths and incorporate pieces of us into her gift. It was a big hit! Below are some sample photos we used in her gift book so you can get an idea how you can use your own creativity. |
